Transitional Homes
New Life Transitional House:
A Recovery Community for Men & Women in a Christian Environment
Our goal is to help in recovery by providing structure and accountability to their life. We seek to guide the home according to Christian principles.
Please mail or fax the completed application to the Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry for review. The New Life Transition House staff will review the application and set up an interview. A drug screen may be required.
New Life Transitional is a six-month program designed to provide structure and accountability to the recently released offender in a Christian environment. The goal of this ministry is to help residents transition from incarceration to independence, living a life free from alcohol and drugs. Residents are expected to attend Christ-centered recovery meetings, church services on Sunday, find employment, and follow all house rules.
The homes are located in the Inglewood area of East Nashville, near a Metro-bus stop. We have separate homes for males and females and both homes are approved by the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole (BOPP). Financial sponsorships are available on as-needed basis and must be approved before entering the program. A drug screen may be required before admission.
